POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Coordinator Information Systems, provide end user application support and assist with documentation, training and quality assurance testing.
Essential Functions
- Provides end user support for District’s Student Information System, and other application systems as required.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of system and end user documentation.
- Assists with the development and delivery of end user training.
- Assists with quality assurance testing of new software releases.
- Escalates high impact situations to supervisor as needed.
- Attend a minimum of four job specific continuing education courses per year.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels of staff in a professional manner.
- Ability to provide effective application support services.
- Capable of operating and administering a computer system.
- Able to bend, stoop and lift moderate weights up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel to district sites.
- Associates Degree or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience
- One (1) or more years of experience with computer systems support
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of personal computers and networking.
- Standard office equipment.
- Ability to work in a variety of locations, travel throughout the District, work non-traditional hours which may include evenings and weekends and meet the physical demands of handling a variety of student needs. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, stand and reach.
