Job Title: Intern, Administrative/Project Management
Location: Kenya or South Africa
Duration: March 1, 2023 – May 31, 2023
This internship is open to applicants from Kenya or South Africa and must be legally eligible to work in that country. The work can be performed from the IAVI office in that country.

An ideal intern will be a motivated student who is interested in working closely with experts in the field of HIV vaccine R&D. Key Responsibilities
Support the IAVI Africa leadership team in
- Preparing reports through collecting and analysis of relevant information.
- Reading, researching, and sharing correspondence, drafting documents, and initiating communications as may be required.
- Monitoring and tracking IAVI Africa internal workflows from the different working groups.
- Taking minutes at meetings as requested, ensuring that minutes are prepared, distributed and follow-up on actions from the meeting on a timely basis.
- To support in preparing of power point presentations, and reports.
- Master’s degree in management or related discipline. Recent graduates preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Interest in global health, infectious disease research
