Baking brilliance makes every day special.As Foodservice Export & Supply Chain Co-Ordinator , you will work closely with our Customer Care Team to ensure timely clearance control for Export Customs Clearance for all Export orders across Europe, NI and ROI.In this role you will be the main point of contact between Kara Customer Care, Manchester, and the team at Newcold, Wakefield, with regular visits to each site required.This role is h ome based with site visits as required especially to Newcold in Wakefield . The candidate must be willing to travel to different sites and locations as required.This is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience with one of the UK’s largest bakery businesses. The Foodservice Export & Supply Chain Co-Ordinator role is key ensuring the smooth delivery of our Foodservice products across Europe, ROI and NIAs The Foodservice Export & Supply Chain Co-Ordinator you will monitor orders received with Customer Care and ensure full tracking using the Master Tracker.Through this process you will also be responsible for generating all Customs Clearance required, including Vetinery Certification and the required Technical Trace paperwork, ensuring all information is received from the relevant Transport provider.It is vital that as Foodservice Export & Supply Chain Co-Ordinator you build strong relationships with the customer care Team in Manchester and the Distribution team at Newcold, Wakefield.You will be communicating daily with both teams, producing reports, checking orders and highlighting any issues with failures or delays which will result in late delivery. Ideally this is you!
- Experience of working in a fast-moving Logistics Department with Transport knowledge to understand issues, experience of communication across business and external including to key Customer contacts.
- Good understanding of the Supply Chain function and Logistics operations including Coldstore operation and Transport function
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Customs Clearance knowledge is also beneficial
